A missing street sign at the top of Galleys Bank in Kidsgrove has been recently replaced by Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council, a month or two after it was reported.
Councillor Olivia Westcott, who represents Kidsgrove and Ravenscliffe on the borough council, flagged the problem and has now shared before and after photos on Facebook.
The before photo shows only the rusted, empty frame left in the grass, while the after photo shows a new black and white "Galleys Bank" sign on fresh posts.
"I'm pleased to see that the missing street sign on the top of Galleys Bank I reported to the council a month or two ago has now been replaced," she said. "It's great to see it back where it belongs!"
Residents can report broken or missing street name plates to Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council through its website.
