Man charged with aggravated burglary and arson in Abbey Hulton

A 40-year-old man has been charged with aggravated burglary and arson following an incident at an address in Abbey Hulton, Stoke-on-Trent.

Sean Adam McCann, of Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, has been charged following an incident on Blakelow Road on Sunday 13 September. Officers attended the address and found a man inside with a number of injuries.

The injured man was taken to hospital, where he remains as of today (Tuesday 22 September). McCann remains in custody and is due to appear at North Staffordshire Justice Centre today.
