Police Release Image As Detectives Investigate Reported Rape In Hanley

Police have released an image of a man they want to speak to as part of an investigation into a reported rape in Stoke-on-Trent.

Detectives are appealing to the public to help identify the man following an incident near Bucknall Old Road in Hanley.

At around 1pm on Monday 11 May, a woman was approached by an unknown man in the area. Police say she was then taken to an alleyway, where she was raped.

Officers have been carrying out a number of enquiries since the incident and have now released an image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with their investigation.

Police are urging anyone who recognises the man, or anyone who may have information that could assist detectives, to come forward.

Anyone with information can contact police on 101 or report information online, quoting incident 457 of 11 May.
