Monkey Dust, Heroin And Cocaine Seized As Two Men Arrested After Bentilee Garage Fire

Two men have been arrested after a large amount of drugs was found in garages in Bentilee following a fire.

Staffordshire Police said officers were called at 11.10pm on Saturday (26 September) to Dawlish Drive, Bentilee, after reports of two vans and a car well alight inside a garage.

The fire was put out, and police said nobody was injured.

Officers then searched the garages and seized a large amount of monkey dust, heroin, cocaine and cannabis.

A 32-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply a class A controlled drug, conspiracy to supply a class B controlled drug, possession with intent to supply a class B controlled drug, and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.

A 42-year-old man from Stoke-on-Trent was arrested on suspicion of participating in the criminal activities of an organised crime group.

Both men remain in custody for questioning.
