A34 "Like A Speedway": Residents In Milehouse And Cross Heath Call For Action Over Speeding

Residents around Milehouse and Cross Heath in Newcastle-under-Lyme have raised concerns over what they describe as repeated speeding and noisy driving along the A34.

One resident posted overnight: "Guess the police aren't on the A34 tonight. It's like the speedway back open."

Others claim the problem is particularly noticeable on Sunday nights, with one resident saying they have to put up with it "every Sunday without fail".

Another commenter said police attended with several vehicles the previous week, but called for a more regular presence in the area.
