Police tackle another anti-social driver on the A34

Police have dealt with another driver accused of driving in an anti-social manner on the A34, with officers describing it as the third incident of the night.

The driver was stopped after being seen driving in a manner which raised concerns. Officers also noted that the driver had previously been issued with a Section 59 warning in May 2026.

Section 59 powers can be used by police where a vehicle is being used in a way that causes alarm, distress or annoyance, or where careless or inconsiderate driving is involved.

The latest incident comes amid a number of recent reports and police actions involving anti-social driving and off-road vehicles across the Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle-under-Lyme area.
