Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenage boy suffered potentially life-changing injuries in a collision involving a motorbike and a car in Tunstall.
Officers were called to Victoria Park Road at around 7.45pm on Wednesday 16 September following reports of a collision involving a silver Vauxhall Astra and a motorbike.
The teenage boy was a passenger on the motorbike and was taken to hospital by ambulance with potentially life-changing injuries. Local reporting has stated that he was taken to Royal Stoke University Hospital.
Police say the motorbike rider left the scene before officers arrived and officers are keen to speak to them about what happened.
The driver of the Vauxhall Astra is assisting police with their enquiries and the car has since been recovered from the scene.
Officers are now carrying out enquiries in the local area and are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have relevant CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage to come forward.
Police are particularly keen to hear from the motorbike rider, who they want to speak to as part of their investigation.
