Historic Smallthorne Wall Restored After Graffiti Outrage

A historic wall in Smallthorne has been professionally cleaned after graffiti sparked public outrage in the local community.

Following concerns from residents after graffiti was sprayed across the historic bank wall, local company RC Contractors stepped in to help and removed the offending graffiti.

The wall has now been professionally cleaned and is looking much better once again, restoring an important part of the area's historic character.

The owner of Corner Cafe Smallthorne also thanked RC Contractors for their work, while paying tribute to their grandad, who has always cared deeply about Smallthorne and its history.

The response has been welcomed as a fantastic example of local community spirit, with residents and businesses hoping the wall can now remain free from further graffiti.

Historic buildings and features are an important part of Smallthorne's identity, and this latest effort shows what can happen when a local business steps forward to help protect them.
