Burslem Community Grocery

Burslem Community Grocery has been broken into during the early hours of this morning, with police now investigating.

The break-in is the second time the important community charity has been targeted in the last 12 months, once again leaving a local organisation that works hard to support people across Burslem dealing with the consequences of crime.

Burslem Community Grocery provides vital support to local people and families, helping those who may be struggling with the rising cost of living and making a real difference within the community.

It is particularly disappointing to see an organisation doing so much for local people targeted in this way.

Police are investigating the incident, with enquiries ongoing.
