Large Police Presence Including Armed Officers Reported In Endon

Residents in Endon have reported a large police presence this evening, including armed officers.

People in the village say officers were seen from about 8.30pm near Endon Stores and around Station Road. Two police vehicles were also reportedly seen pulling into The Plough car park.

There are also reports of police activity in nearby Stanley, where residents say a road has been blocked off.

Staffordshire Police has not yet said why officers are there.

Anyone in the Endon or Stanley area is asked to follow any instructions from officers and to avoid the affected roads where possible.
